Sega or Nintendo?
Re: Sega or Nintendo?
Perhaps one of these threads should get a sticky, so all other topics created with the same theme can be merged and this can stay as future reference.

I don't see why people hate Mario Sunshine so much, I think it's amazing.
Anyway, I'm a Nintendo person, Gameboy Pocket was the first gaming device I got and Nintendo 64 was the second. Snes is my absolute favorite "retro" console, because it plugged right into the tv, not that RF switch stuff that is just so annoying, and turns into a jumbled mess when all the systems are linked together. Also Nintendo systems always had brighter colors which I like.
I didn't get into Sega until I picked up a Dreamcast a few years ago, the only time I even played a Genesis was at my second cousins house which we rarely ever went to. After I got the Dreamcast I got the Genesis then the Saturn, I have still yet to pick up a Master System. Even after getting the Sega stuff, I find Nintendo has more games I enjoy, like all the amazing games on SNES, like Cybernator, Space Megaforce, Mario All Stars, Super Metroid, and so on.
Re: Sega or Nintendo?
Nintendo, but it's a bit unfair to say that because I'm more familiar with it.
Though I played some of what Sega offered back in the 80's and (to a lesser extent) the 90s, I've never owned a Sega system. I have emulators and my brother used to have a Game Gear. Playing things from the past, I like Nintendo's overall library and feel better. But, I admit I might have a different opinion if I had grown up with a Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast instead of a NES, SNES, N64, and my recently purchased Game Cube.

Why did you put a poll in this thread? Start a new one with a poll. Then we'll see what's up.

There's nothing wrong with a nice discussion, we only lock them when they get out of hand. When people start being zealous little fanboys and start calling each other names that's when we lock the thread.

I like Sega better because Sonic games are awesome and I'm a fan of arcade games(The House of The Dead,Die Hard Arcade,Virtua Fighter, etc). All of their systems had a lot of arcade titles.I don't have that many Nintendo systems, but the GBA and SNES are really awesome.I think Nintendo systems are hit and miss like SNES is great, but the Wii is a step backwards.
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade

I'm a die hard Nintenga fan, best game ever Mario the Hedgehog, Toejam & Wario, Luigi the Dolphin & House of the Metriod were just timeless classics.

More like a step forwards. In the wrong direction.
