Um. Not true. You can still get HIV from an infected persons blood/saliva mixing with yours. That can be done in any number of non-sexual ways. You could get HIV by using an unsanitary hypodermic, or somebody could be sick enough to put it in your drip at the hospital while you're sleeping. You could be in an accident with another HIV infected person and contract through blood spatter etc. Those are just off the top of my head.
It annoys me when people say that it's your own fault that you got Aids, because some people can contract it through no fault of their own, other than perhaps being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Also, HIV's not a death sentence, it's treatable in the early stages if you catch it in time. If you let it get full blown into AIDs, then you have a problem.

true, but still those are the exceptions not the rule. the main way people get aids is with sex. that's why 3rd world countries have the most aids symptoms. people are not informed about aids, nor about protection.

Any one ever heard of the conspiracy theory that the cure for cancer already exists but is being suppressed by the government and/or the drug companies because cancer patients bring in a lot of money?
A cure for cancer in my life time, I always thought I wouldn't see it. Hopefully it exist before I get it. Every one knows at least one person that died from cancer.

Chris Rock has a great bit on that theory. Going off of the observation that there's no money in the cure; the money's in the medicine.
