In response to the top five TV shows list, what are your favorite five bands of all time?

Mine:
1. The Smiths
2. The Beatles
3. Oasis
4. Suede
5. The Stone Roses/ABBA

It's hard to decide on an all time favorite. I'll go with Metallica, from the beginning to Re-Load.

Runner ups:

Vast
Nightwish
Aura
Black Sabbath & Ozzy
Insane Clown Possie - Just 3 albums from their mid-life.

I really really hate picking my favorite group, they are like my children, and I also can't list. but if I had to pick one...maybe...Anthrax, sure lets go with one

NICE LIST!
Bowie, VU, The Who and Led Zep are definitely in my top10 as well. My favorite is the Beatles. I also really like Radiohead. Also if any of you haven't heard and R.E.M from about 1981-1986 go check it out immediately, Nirvana did not start anything.

Radiohead is in my top 25 no doubt. But The Beatles are so generally acknowledged as the best, that I usually don't include them.

Ya, Dresden Dolls next to Dave Matthew Band definitely counts as unique. :shock:
