Re: What else do you collect?
During high school I was a want-a-be DJ so I collected a lot of Hard House, Progressive House, and Hard Trance vinyls. Have about 250+ LP's and was lucky enough to collect during the best time of House music '94 - '98.
After my so-so DJ days I sold my equipment (except my vinyls) and bought my first classic car. Since then it goes between fixing up my collection of video games and cars.
Current collection:
'53 Desoto Firedome
'58 Edsel Citation
'60 Ford F100
Just sold '64 Cadillac El Dorado Convertable.

Re: What else do you collect?
Comic books, actions figures and a few odds and ends. I have a pretty sizable collection of old sci-fi magazines, but I don't plan on expanding it anytime soon. That was just a lucky used bookstore find.
Comics, RPG's, miniatures, and now retrogaming? I guess its time to learn to go without eating...
Re: What else do you collect?
I collect books I try for hardbacks and first editions mostly particularly horror and the publisher arkham house. I have an entire room known as the library with custom mahagony and comfy seating. I have a few hundred books I think. Most expensive is 300 or so dollars many are cheaper (some library buys so hardly collectible or thrifts) but yeah I love books. Few of them are very rare with only a few hundred in print

Thanks for the helpful post Mod_Man_Extreme. That was very thorough and informative. Despite the annoyance of buying them again, the though of future Justice League seasons in high definition(I'm thinking of Justice League Unlimited in particular)is quite exciting

DVDs. Soda Bottles. Diecast cars (since I can't afford to collect full size ones).

As soon as I heard about the Justice League Blu-Rays I held off on buying the DVD collections, but I'm hoping to God they find the Batman TAS source films as I'd love an HD transfer.Gamerforlife wrote:Thanks for the helpful post Mod_Man_Extreme. In an interesting note I'd still keep my Standard Def copies as I agree with Bruce Timm's view that Batman TAS just isn't the same without dirty cels and a dated yet modern Analog-To-Digital video quality.

Re: What else do you collect?
I shit you not, my daughter and I (okay, technically just me since my daughter is 11 months) are collecting Gerber jar lids. They have animals on them. I'm going for a complete set, but I can't find a list online.
EDIT: Just found a mommy blog that says there's 30 of them.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
