Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

any notable records, i collect a lot of 80's records, favorites being The Smiths, but I am curious as to some of the stuff you might have
it would only be notable if your into 1980's hardcore punk. my most valuable record is a Cause For Alarm "self-titled" EP from 1983 its worth up to about $200 i have a record nerd page http://www.recordnerd.com/lists/icky

if any of those things are to your interest
i'm never got into the hardcore punk stuff, but i work at a music/game store, so I am always curious as to other peoples taste, my most valuable is a promo tool undertow transparent vinyl

I like to collect computers and things related to them. Right now I'm up to 4 1/2, one of which is a cybermax running windows 98 (I love that thing). Still pretty young though, so there's lots of room for expansion.

I used to collect a number of things heavily -- the two biggest ones were
Baseball cards (from about 1987 to 2000)
Hot Wheels cars (from 1995 to about 2002)

I still have a good number of them sitting around in boxes and such.

Big fan as well. I've got all of Justice League except season 1(because it was the weakest one so I didn't make getting it a priority). I started collecting the Batman:Animated Series and Batman Beyond series on DVD but never finished those collections. Now, I hear they're all coming out on Blueray, which sort of makes me wish I had waited a few years to start collecting DCAU stuff. I hate media format changes. I kind of wish we could develop the perfect format already and stick to it.
Batman TAS isn't getting an HD release from what I've seen as the original source film was lost, I haven't heard of anything relating to Superman TAS, TNBA (Batman TAS Season 5 with the streamlined look), Batman Beyond, Zeta Project or Static Shock at all yet.

Justice League was the first series in the DCAU to be animated Digitally (excluding the last half of Season 2 and all of Season 3 of Batman Beyond) and in 1080p so definitely expect Blu-Rays of the entire series.

Also note that Justice League Season 1 was animated in 4:3 but was designed to be cropped to 16:9 for later re-runs with minor loss of detail (ie: Batman's cowls) to each scene. The Blu-Ray release keeps the picture in it's native 4:3 aspect ratio to preserve the whole image. All subsequent seasons of Justice League were animated in 16:9 and therefore therefore will be left in their native 16:9 widescreen ratio upon their Blu-Ray release.

Amazon has Season 1 on Blu-Ray for $40 right now which is a $30 savings over Best Buy's price:

Figurines mostly. Anything that looks interesting, or could look interesting. I started playing wargames when I was quite young - Panzer Leader when I was 6. So I have had quite a collection of figures over the years. Pewter, lead, plastic, glass, clay, cold cast, porcelain, bone, gold, silver, you name it Ive probably got one made out of it.

I also (re)paint those that need it. I actually just got a bunch of big bug monsters from an upcoming online ccg and with alittle work they should look like Ant Lions from Half Life 2…Ill post pictures if it works.

I also collect unique autographs of people who either were in something I liked or created it. Examples being, signed original prints of Don Rosa’s Scrooge McDuck characters, A first edition Sword of Shanara signed by Terry Brooks, and the Bruce Campbell signed PS2 Chainsaw controller are the three most people care about. Others people yall may know John Lithgow, Richard Dean Anderson, Sean Astin, James Gurney, and William H Macy.

I don't really collect anything else really. Maybe broken electronics? I have a few drawers full of broken/half-working digital cameras, cell phones, laptops, etc.

I've been able to salvage a few, but they were exceptionally easy to "repair".

I don't know if you can count it as collecting, but I rarely throw away car parts I have removed for preventative maintenance. I've got lots of good backup parts (water pumps, timing belt tensioners, spindles, brake parts, oil pumps...) in case of an emergency.
Systems: Atari 2600, Atari Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Genesis 3, Genesis 2, 32X, Sega CD (model 2), Saturn (model 1), Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox (Modded), Xbox 360, GameBoy, GBA SP, Game Gear, PSP... always adding more

Ren & Stimpy and spumco stuff. Love old cartoons like Looney Toons, but for some reason I've not got any box sets of that. I've all the Ren & Stimpy's though.

Horror films for sure, I usually want to have on hand as many movies to watch as possible. I don't buy as much as I used to since dvd is obsolete, sort of. I've watched films on VHS in the previous year to give you an idea where I'm at, but something tells me you guys understand. Slashers, zombies, b-movies, whatever. Its gotten tougher to find good ones, since so much crap is out now and has a similar name. For example, I was looking for a western with zombies I heard about. I got one called Quick and the Undead. The one I wanted was the Undead or Alive. It's a western, with zombies, and Chris Kattan. The one I got originally was some post apocalyptic western.

I've tons of comic book stuff, but lately I've had to cut that out. If I don't have time for games, how can I possibly read. I've had near full runs of several series, I prefer the single issues to collections (Trade Paperbacks, some folks calls it a Graphic Novel I calls it a Kaiser Blade.) for some reason. I've some background in comic work too and besides video games it's what I like to do with my time. I've a pile of Ghost Riders I need to organize and go through.
