Game Boy Light

Post by Nintendude94 »

I just imported a Game Boy Light from japan. I've been wanting one for a while now, but I didn't fell like dishing out around $80. I finally found one for $50 with Pokemon Green and seized the opportunity.

What do you think, Good deal? Does anyone here have one (I'm sure there is), How is it. I'm guessing it's just like a game boy pocket, With the backlight of coarse. How well is the Backlight?

That's a great deal.

As for the backlight it uses an Electroluminescent screen (EL for short) to produce the unit's iconic blue-green glow. If you've ever used a digital watch that lit up blue-green they use the exact same technology and the screen is neither lit from the back or the front, rather the screen as a whole lights up.

yea man that is a really good deal for one. Back when I was collecting gameboy's it was certainly the apple of my eye I could just never justify the price tag.

I'm a big fan of my Gameboy Light. That sounds like a really good price for it.
