Your thoughts on retro purchasing

There will always be plenty of back-up, Games have such a big fan-base, that people will just try to re-create all the systems if they do somehow become "extinct".

There could even be a whole new market for older games even O_o

I never thought about it like this. I just keep the system that works the best and sell the other one, but I guess it would be good to keep a extra around, though I don't think I have the room, I mean, I could get a backup of 1 or 2 systems, but not all of them, so it all depends on what I find.

I mean, I keep really good care of my systems, and I won't go out of my way to get backups. The only backup system I have right now is a Dreamcast.

Maybe I will keep a backup of NES or SNES if I find one, I keep 1 of of every Genesis model so I don't need another of those. I did accidentally sell my working Genesis 1 and kept a broken one, so I need to rebuy that. :(
