the ONLY shmup worth playing on sega cd is Keio Flying Squadron and if you plan on buying an actual copy then be prepared to pay big money for it. I personally dont think its worth all the money it will take you to purchase it.

There is a decent version of Lords of Thunder for the Sega CD. Android Assualt is another good one
