I like that all eBay auctions list the game as "rare" -- that is, all 3 hundred million auctions list the game as rare.
Re: MJ Dead = Profit?
If you think that's funny, I looked up "Atari 2600" + "rare" today in eBay, and didn't actually get any rare games at all. Just proves how stupid this whole thing gets.jfrost wrote:I like that all eBay auctions list the game as "rare" -- that is, all 3 hundred million auctions list the game as rare.

It's insane. I sold just my cart for $100. The prices will be back to average in a month or so.

Especially when that "rare" game has hundreds of copies listed along side it. Or you walk into a thrift store only to find several copies lying dusty on thier shelves.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Actually, this game wasn't "cheap" for a good long while. Complete generally sold for $40~50, even cart only was fetching $20+ before his death. I know b/c I have been trying to get it for several months now.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

a fact of life
His memorial at Staples Center is free
(had to apply for tickets and get lucky in a raffle)
tickets were on ebay right after winner notifications went up
Of course you need to have your ID available to get into the event so im not sure how they got around that.
