Galerians

Anyone here played it, seems a rather unknown game.

I picked it up from Cash Converters for $5 (nzd) today. Im loving it.
I can't believe it didn't have more of a following or did it?

No, but I've played Galerians: Ash. From what I hear, Ash isn't very good, but Galerians was a great game that approaches the threshold of survival horror, so take some time and enjoy it.

I played the Galerians for the PSX. Its not too bad, very much in the spirit of Akira. I remember you had to pump yourself full of drugs if you used your powers too much.

Making people's heads explode is the best.

I thought the way you charged up attacks was odd. It had this swing meter that filled up.

Okay I gave it a good play last night, seriously fun game.
I like how the combat is handled with the attack charging, though it can get annoying when mixed with the fixed camera.

I had heard it was a Survival Horror game though, but it doesn't seem to be.
