The number of girls I know who are pregnant is steadily rising. Every month it seems like more and more people from high school have had kids or have kids on the way.

I can't understand why someone would want to have a child so early in life. Why do that to yourself?

These girls treat this like it's some kind of game, like raising a kid is just something you do for fun.

Well if you're me, you don't give two shits because the ones who generally do get pregnant are stupid cunts that have it coming.

However, I have had close friends of mine get pregnant, it's not like they meant to, its just one of those things that comes with sex.

Some of it's cultural. Different groups have different notions of when a girl should be getting pregnant. But there is some stupidity involved, as you mentioned. What's really sad is that not only does it screw with the girl's life, it screws with the kid's life. It's no accident that the children of moms who got pregnant at a young age tend to get pregnant at a young age as well.

Hey there is absolutely nothing wrong with being pregnant at 20, by accident or by decision. I'm guessing you dont have a famiily yourself so you wouldnt understand that to most people raising children is infinetly more satisfying than going to the pub/getting high/nailing the last star in Mario. Some people might think that these things are a waste of time, but its each to their own and I would never critise other peoples life decisions.

I normally find that the bitterness is rooted not in the fact that the girls actively choose to have sex with lots of people, but in the fact that the girls choose to not have sex with them...

As a 20 year old, I can not imagine by any stretch of the imagination raising a child or having a family. I do not doubt how rewarding it is to do so but at such a young age I just cant see it happening. Neither a man nor a woman (for the most part there are obviously some out there) is particularly marture enough to properly handle the resposiblities.
