Video peek at the Dux regular edition and first (terrible) attempt at playing the game.

First impressions: Rock hard much like Last Hope, but the music and graphics looks brilliant on a big TV via VGA. Nothing 'flash' looking about it, more like those pre-rendered sprites you got in Donkey Kong Country, but at a much higher res of course.

I looked at some of the screenshots for DUX, and I don't think it looks like vectors, nor prerendered 3D sprites. It looks like the graphics are cel shaded 3D models.

DUX LE. Got it yesterday. I dig it a lot, despite the bugs.

I'm a little confused. Is Last Hope out already? Or is that still coming? I might try out Dux tonight finally.

I was thinking at first the graphics for this were too much on the dorky side, but watching Gagaman's video, I came to like them.

The only thing that seems stupid is that the box doesn't mention the Dreamcast anywhere. C'mon, where's the DC box template? The spiral? Even the name of the console? The box looks like an European techno band DVD.

Do NOT take my word for it, but Hucast may be playing it safe in regards to legalities. I think the spine of the LE makes it fairly obvious- I cannot speak for the regular edition though.

I think I'll play a credit before I watch a movie and doze off.
