Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Fan-translation of Kojima's Policenauts nears completion

Post by racketboy »

Possibly the most anticipated translation in my book:

I'll be sure to post this on the RetroGaming page once it's finished.

Cool, I hope with this script they can translate the saturn version as well! :D
This is probably the most important step in fan translations of games, considering it's quite complex I would think.

This is pretty badass. I was much more interested in Tobal 2 and Shining Force 3 Premium Disc, but perhaps on a technical level this is a bigger deal. Plus I never played snatcher bacause I heard the US version was neutered. Does the uncensored code make it 100% like the original JAP release?

Also, what are the differences between the Saturn and PSX versions?

The saturn version has all of the original scenes from the PC-9821 Personal Computer. Plus, it is the only version to allow for the use of a light gun and has all the features from the Private Collections/Pilot Disk editions. It's basically the ultimate version in all aspects.
