Anybody with some degree of intelligence play PS3 online?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Anybody with some degree of intelligence play PS3 online?

Post by RokstaEnSweden »

Hey, so I know this is a retro gaming forum, but I imagine a lot of you have next-gen systems too so I thought I'd throw this out there. I just got a PS3 recently and was wondering if any of you play PS3 games online because I've been looking for people to play with.

I really don't know anyone else with a PS3, and my trips into Home have yielded nothing in terms of finding people I'd want to play games with (it seems mostly populated with 13 year-old kids running around spamming nonsense). It's apparently pretty hard to find another intelligent person around my age (24) to make "friends" with and play head-to-head. Most games pair you up with whomever, and while it's still pretty fun it's also kind of a throw-away experience when you don't really know anyone.

Anyways, if you ever go online on your PS3 with Killzone 2, Street Fighter IV, Little Big Planet, or Burnout Paradise you should definitely add me as a friend and send a message my way. My PSN ID is RokstaEnSweden and I'm always looking to add some friends.

Did you really expect otherwise? Stupid kids on the Internet are a widespread epidemic.

When I do get Street Fighter IV and/or Little Big Planet (had my eye on those for a while, now) I'll be sure to add you.

Not anymore somebody just stole about 300 dollars from me some how. I opened my email and pop there is a charge of 300 dollars and when I checked my PS3 about half was left and whoever managed to get into my account wasted it on overpriced PSP and PS1 games.

I thought Sony fixed the damn hacking problem !!!

I was playing Team Fortress 2 online for awhile. Other than that, it's all offline for me.

I play PS3 online, but alas am void of any intellect.

Nevertheless, when I do play it's usually either Littlebigplanet, Crash Commando, Warhawk, Calling All Cars, and currently the Uncharted 2 Beta.

My PSN is gnrlchaos.

Well there is that. I did get on "Home" and make a freakishly creepy giant of a lanky pox scarred man, then went on to chant "pata pata pata pata" while on the dance floor. People were literally pointing at me and yelling "freak." Knowing that no experience could eclipse that, I thereafter unistalled Home.

Anyway, would it be possible to add to the user info a space under contacts for psn, live, wii and ds usernames?

Wait, so Rag Doll Kung Fu DOES have online play? I thought the biggest critique against it was that you couldn't play it online.

Also, Japan's PSN store sure does miss out on a lot of good stuff. People keep saying the Japanese store is better because of all the PS1 games they get, but it seems like all they put out are graphic adventures and puzzle games and shit.

Anyway, yeah I play online sometimes. fingersmaloy.
