I hate CD's, DVD's, and anything that isn't tape or cart.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

The digital revolution is something I believe many retro collectors and gamers in general aren't that thrilled about it... I prefer physical media for my games and movies... 8)

That's my problem too, with the additional problem of the fact that a download cannot become rare or valuable like an old game on physical media can.
Well,it just means our rare carts are going to be worth more.I hate it when cds skip, but resurfacing is cheap to do.I agree with you guys,I think cartridges are way better and last longer.I prefer watching movies with ipod(connected to the tv),but I have a big movie collection also,I have too many movies already I don't want anymore!.My game collection is different I want physical games not a bunch of stuff on a hd.

That pretty much sums up what the answer is. I would love to have carts come back, but by the looks of things, we will never see that day.
I agree big time. I hate cd/dvds as well. And I especially hate the digital download crap too because of the no resell value. Part of my passion is game collecting and you cannot collect a digital download. (Of course most of the Xbox Live stuff you can download on the pirate scene on disc and install it that way on a modded console...but it is just not as fun)
