air/space combat on DS?
air/space combat on DS?
I just got a DS and I was wondering if there were any good air/space combat games. Something along the lines of Wing Commander, Freespace, Rogue Squadron. I got StarFox, and I'm not exactly loving the stylus controls. Anything else I should look out for?

Isn't that a top down SHMUP? I'm looking for something with a first person perspective.

If you have a regular DS not a DSi, Wing Commander Prophecy was released on the Advance a few years ago. Of course if your looking for a strictly DS game Im sorry to say that Im a fan of the mission based space shooter myself and there is nothing on the DS except Star Fox. Stylus controls = meh to me too.

Yeah it's a DSL, I'll have to hunt that down. Shame there's no native version, the dual screens would be nice for this. One screen for viewing the action, the second screen for your cockpit controls.

I searched the internets and found only a few air combat games on the DS. The DS terribly lacks that genre.
