Does anybody owns a Sega Game Gear?

Post by nightwalker »

Just to tell you I think ppl in ebay are selling the game gear really cheap. I just received one that i bought and it works perfectly and it looks almost new for 9.50 and it included 3 games sonic2, mortal kombat, and the pool game (i always forget the name hehe) so if you guys interested in one nows you chance. I love this little machine it was the first to have color. Just post this so if someone was looking for one nows a good time im always on the lookout on ebay.

If it wasn't for the battery life, I would pick one up.
There are a lot of nice games for it

I own one, since it was released. I never took care of it though. This really was covered in the "What Consoles Do You Currently Own?" thread.

wow -- $10?
is that normal?

I haven't seen a GG in a while -- how does the screen compare to the different variations of the GBA?

well game gear i really think beat game boy regular and gameboy color because it had a backlit screen and it took nintendo years before they got a backlit screen going...it may eat up more batteries but i would rather not use a flashlight to try to play a gameboy lol...and yep it is real go on ebay and type game gear system, they probably still fetch around $10,the games sometimes you can get for like $2 a game plus the shipping which is even more nuts.....

I got my game gear years ago for my sixth birthday. Man THAT was a present. I'm 19 now, so that was like 1992. I still play it, especially when the hurricanes here in florida knock the power out and I can't play dreamcast. The only thing I had backlit (until now I got a micro).

I love it. If they really go on ebay for under $20, then thats a great deal and everyone should get one. The screen is nothing to brag about, and playing it today makes me realize how washed its gotten. Its not worth the $60+ the nomad is going for though.

I wrote that last one, but forgot to sign in. I also wrote the $5 genesis one in the other thread.
