I just wanted to say this quote disgusts me. If we all spoke English then we would have no real concept of the way other cultures communicate and even THINK. Look into linguistics sometime, it will blow your mind.

Globalisation is bad because imagine how boring the world would be if every country was the same.

There would be no point going on holiday or visting other countries if we all shared the same culture.

It would just be dull.

Sorry I don't understand this at all, it makes no sense to me. In fact it would be a lot easier to get to know other cultures. "No real concept" wow. This would mean I no longer have any real concept of Spanish or British culture and that is not the case at all.

Globalization is widely misunderstood.

Language is a big piece that defines one's culture. Different people think in different languages, and it colors everything they do. So while everyone's culture wouldn't be lost, it would be changed if everyone only spoke english.
There would be no point going on holiday or visting other countries if we all shared the same culture.
I personally don't feel that globalization will make everything the same. Just look at America. We all speak the same language, but there's still individual regions that are known for different things, and people take vacations to all different places in the country.
