Heh, i like the key word of this topic, "One" of japan ugly sides.

Im not that surprised. There is Neo Nazism going on in Germany that i heard is pretty big. I guess any country after being told their place by america (other other empires that rocked in the past) have some good grudges for a century or so.

And the Yakuza funding this? Isnt a good portion of the Yakuza made up of ex Japanese WWII veterans. Thats kinda like if the pro commies in Russia (i know there is) is funded by the russian mob (which controls most of the country regardless).

So... whats up with the naked chick, is that their goddess or something? (no, I have no ablility to read Kanji or the other 2 japanese language characters in the japanese language to figure it out).

Oh yea, i like how the pro american group has a Chevy to lead the way. General Moters, being on the front lines to defend america, wherever and however it may be (but a Corvette Stingray would have been better... just saying)...

Ah, the dangers of nationalism.

I like seeing people sticking to their culture, it actually pleases me, this way we can know who is Japanese and what is Japanese, who is British and what is a British. Plus when you travel there its a whole different place, but when each country has the same government system, all speak English and eat McDonald and no certain look or clothing differentiate them I think it sucks.
I think I am trying to say I am against globalization.

Although I hate how Americans(politicians) do their politics, go their route of whatever they want and then go on TV smile and lie about it and then lie to the American people that this is all patriotic and for the good of their country just to get away with their selfish desires. It is actually funny how they put restrictions of other countries using mass destruction weapons and making the threat from other countries while they are the only ones who used it.

Yet I am glad they stopped the army of those Japanese. Man those people are not human, they work harder than machines, they are smart, patriotic, advanced and damn proud of their nation. Who can stop that? Honestly, although everyone thinks Americans are the tough people, I think America can be taken down if things get out of hand. But who can beat the Japanese?!

How come this website has pictures of Jews, Palestinians, nudity, and Nazi symbol all in a page that is supposed to be for a Japanese pride party?

I completely agree. When people make out that nationalism and being proud of your country is bad, we run the risk of having in the future complete globalisation of the world where all cultures have merged into one.

There's nothing wrong with being pro- your own country and wanting to preserve its culture.

It's sad however that they choose to go too far and include Nazi-ism and Jewish stuff because it just makes out the entire right-wing politics to be a bunch of racist Nazis.

I fail to see how globalization is bad at all. Do you really think that if everyone were to speak english we would lost anything?

I believe they're worried that we would lose much of the cultural differences that make our nations unique.

Actually, after the collapse of the Soviet Union organized crime happened to be the best equipped to handle the transition because they already had their own networks. In effect, they'd been capitalist all along, and so most of the Russian business empires that popped up immediately after USSR's collapse were mafioso going legit because they could. And after the Russians felt burned over American(read: Clinton) treatment as a "junior partner" during Yeltsin's presidency, the government has gone back to many of their Soviet policies and run out a good deal of these businessmen, specifically the ones felt to pose a threat to government. But then again, what did you expect when the president immediately following Yeltsin happened to be former KGB?

Most of ours were in place to fight against the Soviets. In the last twenty years, we've pulled back most of our WMDs from their vantage points in the world, and we've been considering the disposal of our nuclear weapons. But in violation of international agreements(supported not just by us but by that ever increasingly useless organization the UN), several nations have developed their own or are developing their own, so I oppose our elimination of our own stockpiles and encourage the development of new means of missile defense. After the long and bloody history of our "relations" with North Korea, I'd say we need it.

We could eliminate quite a bit of what we have and still have quite enough to deal with those just developing their programs. Our equipment still has much better accuracy and range. All we need is enough to serve as deterrent. Most of the nations building their own stores are doing so for power within their local area of the world, not on the larger, global scale. Except perhaps North Korea. North Korea's gov't is playing the spoiled child hand. Even negative attention is better than no attention at all.

I've read from various sources that Japan is basically owned by the Rockefellers/Rothschilds. Heard anything about that?

I don't really like that guy. He is kind of a whacko and a douche.

Never heard of the Rockefeller thing...I don't delve into conspiracy theories.

... Im just thinking about how badly Chrystler went under. Thanks for bringing up that up, i really feel better now <sarcasm>.

Just kidding. I do like the new Challengers, theres just something about them that makes me wanna spend that much on a machine like that. Im not much of a Mustang fan (i live in the south, so the Mustang to me is more of a "redneck class" vehicle). Im more of a GM/Chevy man myself. My dream car is the Corvette Stingray or a Shelby (or AC) Cobra 427, shoot both accually:

You really cant blame them, there a communist federation.

Russia has had interesting goverment rule, before it was the hiarchey with Czars, then to Marxism/communism in the past 150 years. They pretty much hated the Czar rule and went to communism, then after a while they got tired of how that was run and wanted something else, which today, is a atmosphere of communism. Change definetly takes time. But by wiping out the russian mob, you wipe out a good part of their structure.

All it really takes is one. The last time Nuclear weapons were used on another country in war was Japan, and that took 2, 1 more than needed (it really should havent been done, but at that time, it was America's "double ace in the hole") The war needed to end, and some times the best of choices are the hardest to choose. I dont blame the US wanting not to fight on japanese soil other than Okinawa depending on how the japanese fought as well.

I like this thread, it has 2 things I like/know, cars and history...
