Bleem! Gran Turismo 2

Post by The Apprentice »

So I downloaded treb's GT2 bleem from underground gamer, and it works. It plays, but there's slowdown, texture issues, and the game occasionally freezes while navigating menus. I was just wondering, how's the commercial release play? Any slowdown, or is it just like playing the real thing?

You definitely have a borked version. As far as I know, the 3 commercial releases were never successfully ripped. You most likely are using a modified version of the leaked beta bleemcast that runs all games, though poorly.

Right, I knew that. What I'm asking is if the official releases are much better. I heard they vary in quality.

You should assume from my post that the commercial GT2 bleemcast is great. I have no issues with it, aside from the menus being a little overly smeared. MGS however is dog shit. The overall audio emulation is terrible. Never got to try Tekken 3. I would assume, based on the engine behind it, that its good.
