Who's picked this up or is planning to? I'm gonna get it once my Amazon gift certificates come in.

I've had it since release, and it's fantastic. It's mostly NES Punch-Out, but more polished. And the Title Defense mode is nasty. It's taken me several attempts on each boxer in TD to beat them.

We rented it. I couldn't beat Super Macho Man, my brother made it past Von Kaiser in title defense.

What a great installment for the Wii. If you are familiar with the original Punch-Out! and Super Punch-Out!, the first 12 fights are fairly easy, as except for Disco Kid, you've faced the same characters before. The opponents patterns stay true to the originals, until you start defending the title. And then, wow. The game gets really tough, really quick.
Besides defending the title, I found this game easier than the original Punch-Out! Bald Bull's timing on the Bull Charge can still get me once in a while on the NES, but seems so telegraphed on the Wii. I was also hoping for more additional characters. But, for those who practice and practice the new Punch-Out! a great cameo is in store for you.

Actually, I played it a bit at Nintendo World in NYC before it was released.
But I just got my copy the other day. Hope to give it a whirl tonight (haven't had much free time)

I've been playing it a bunch today.
Took me a few tries to get past King Hippo.
Now I'm trying to get my timing down for Great Tiger.

This game is freakin' awesome.

One of the very few games I've paid full price for, but it's been worth it.
I have very little to even nitpick about
