The issue is a bit strange, but some people seem to be able to play PAL PSX Classics fine on US TVs, whereas a few can't play them at all - i'm guessing it's because most NTSC TVs aren't compliant with PAL, whereas most PAL TVs are compliant with NTSC also.the7k wrote:However, I have heard that PAL PSX games won't work on American PS3s regardless.
As for buying games from the JP store, best bet is to get a JP card - you can buy them from NCSX.com, but they often go out of stock. Personally I reccomend buying them from Kyoto Temple Artist on ebay, friendly guy who always sends out the code within 24 hours;
