Will you ever have collected enough?

Re: Will you ever have collected enough?
You know all this talk, and I just ordered six more games...
I am slowly condensing the collection to just a the ones I will play again, and a few for the memories. I have no desire to collect all games for a system anymore. I also dont think I will be buying another "realistic" sports game except maybe Winning Eleven for the Wii once they get the online to support max players. The thrill of the hunt will always be there, I just think I have finally hit the point where I can pass on deals if I dont think I will ever play them. Not necessarily a bad thing, but like I said, my wallet is empty anyway.

Wave Race 64, Tetrisphere, and Star Fox 64 still hold up well over time.Flak Beard wrote:Problem is, I'd probably only get a few games for it. I never really played the one I had back when I had it. The only titles I can think of are Mario 64 and Cruisin USA. I've already got Ocarina of Time on GCN.kingdomheights777 wrote: Do it! True. After a little bit of research, I would also consider Banjo Kazooie, Body Harvest and Blast Corps.J T wrote:Wave Race 64, Tetrisphere, and Star Fox 64 still hold up well over time.

Re: Will you ever have collected enough?
I think this thread is representative of how things go for a collector.
We start off thinking "wow, I've got a lot of games and no more space for anything." Then we think back to some old game from our past or somebody recommends something we missed, then it's back to hunting for bargains.

No kidding. Here I said I was done getting additional consoles earlier in the thread, and now I'm window shopping on eBay for a CIB N64!J T wrote:I think this thread is representative of how things go for a collector.

Re: Will you ever have collected enough?
Im more about the collecting than anything now that I really think about it. Sure I make a point to beat all my games but, overall, the thrill of hunting down stuff in thrift stores and yard sales is a pretty damn good feeling.
Older. Not wiser.
