How do you feel when opening a new gaming console box?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

... what? I was following you at first, but you lost me a few roads down.

Manipulation of a girl's perception of you. It's good stuff. No girl gets moist for a guy they know everything about right off the bat. By the time she realizes what happened, you've already deleted her name from your cellphone and moved on.

 Those boxes look like you just bought them in the store. Wish my 2600 box was in that state, mine looks like its from 1959 not 1979.

They were thinking "we'd better make it look like these schmucks are getting their 400 bucks worth".
That's without the core system, and without a pack-in game.

And it came with the standard system card. You needed to fork over another $65 for the privilege of playing SuperCD games. Of course by then it was pretty much over here in the states. I picked up my hardware on clearance, still paid about $210 for both pieces.

But goddammit Gates of Thunder made it all worth it.

Well, to be fair at the time I don't think the Super System Card had been released yet.

They need to place a warning on each console box.

Warning: Please keep a roll of Paper Towels nearby.
Warning: Opening of case may cause intense ejaculation.

In my personal experience, the Super System Card had just come out when I bought my TurboCD on clearance. So yes, the first thing I got when I signed up for TurboPlay was a catalog showing me all the "up and coming" games I wouldn't be able to play.
