My rare find

Post by Arbitern1 »

Ok to start this off i will say that my family owns storage units that people rent out for $$$.Well if somebody doesn't pay rent for 2 years their belongings there-in belong to us. Well somebody didn't pay their rent and i ended up with over 50 nes games.Including Action 52 with complete, Zelda complete, Zelda 2 complete, metal gear complete, and much more. I found a boxed atari lynx and 5-6 games for it and a boxed(very worn box) phillips CD-i with hotel mario, zelda wand of gamelon, and zelda's adventure=).I want to take pics but my digital camera is broken*cries*.I am very happy never-the-less.

Great find, but I am surprised your family lets people go 2 years without paying before you take their stuff. That is 2 years that the locker could have gone to someone else who would be paying you, I thought 6 months or a year was more common.

I was going to say the same thing, 2 whole years is awfully generous. When I had a storage locker it was 6 or 8 months.

But anyways, very nice find! Does it all work?

I know a junk shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn called 'The Thing.' I heard the owner also owns storage and the majority of what ends up in the store is due to people defaulting on their payments.

Anyway, great luck! :)

seems unfair
maybe he died or something , could he get his stuff back if he paid for the two years and an extra penalty
