What is the best way to clean dirty Consoles?

I like to use Meguiar's Natural Shine instead of Armor All..but that's in my car. A better shine, smell, longer lasting etc.

On my consoles, when I get them used, if it is easy to break down to the shell, I'll scrub them in the sink with a rag, dish soap, and a soft toothbrush in the cracks. That removes any buildup of junk on the inside and out. Simple Green works well too.

I blow and brush all dust I can off of the console, then a very mild solution of cleaner to remove any other dirt, then finish with these:



Really makes the black consoles look like new.

You know there's a reason they warn you about Armor-All eating through unprotected pleather on the bottle.

Well that and the feeling you just slathered you console in cooking oil.

Funny thing is the wipes do not leave very much on the finish at all, I am looking at a model 1 genesis that I cleaned that way a week ago and no it does not look or feel greasy YMMV.....

Honda Polish "motorcycle polish" works real well as well.



Safe for all plastics and leaves a very fresh scent.

I just spit on its cheek and wipe it off with a hanky.
