Hey...come on in here and register. there are sculptors and people who mold and cast limited edition resin kits of all manner of figure. Sci Fi, Horror, Super Hero etc. most are based in the US but there are people who know of Japanese producers.

there are also lots of kit collectors / builders showing off their work.
there is a definite lack of game related kits.
recommend me some japanese toy/figure makers

not really but I've been collecting garage kits since about '95 or so. I do mod my kits as I build them so I "sculpt" some. I used to sculpt some in jr. high school. I keep thinking I should try it again. I was pretty good back then.
my name is Angel Eyes on there.
there are action figure sculptors on there too. you might want to join up on the Shifletts sculpting board too. there is some crossover members between the sculptors on the CH and the Shifletts site.
the site can be a little annoying at times. no religion, sexuality or politics allowed. no real foul language. it's too bad cause I like reading a good interweb fight

are you BBanzai ?
the CH was started by some guys who collect the old Aurora monster and superhero kits. they are the admins I think. they do like their old school Universal monsters on there. alot of Predator content too. there are some great sculptors and great painters on the board. some write for Amazing Figure Modeler and Kitbuilders magazines.

Yamato seems pretty good. I got the Bubblegum Crisis Priss Motoslave 1/15 back during christmas and its a nice yet COMPLICATED figure.
Also the Revoltech figures seem pretty durable as well...
