Best psp game to get?

Outrun 2006 and Sega Rally are amazing on the PSP

I might be making a mistake
but portable gaming now are only console games washed down for use on the go...
I am still wondering why I should get a psp or ds if I got a 360 and Wii at home.

I am sure whatever it is on there, there must be something bigger and better on the consoles

I disagree. Certainly there are watered down ports on handhelds, but there are plenty of original titles as well. The DS in particular is a great system because it serves as a platform for a lot of 2D games that I suspect would not be made for contemporary consoles, where high-tech 3D is stressed. Plus, portables are nice because even if you're at home you can just lounge around anywhere you please, body contorted and draped over furniture, holding your screen right in front of your face. I doubt I could accomplish that with many TVs.

Even if portable games were only watered down ports of console titles, they'd be worth it for me. The other day I had to go to a family meeting and to endure all their stupid talking was really difficult. I also had to wait for like 2 hours in an employment agency here to have someone help me. If I had a PSP or a DS... Then again, if I had a PSP, I probably wouldn't need a job.

There's a game that should be able to sell anyone on why they should get a DS.

Silent Hill: Origins is great. It's really high-quality title (as far as looks and overall polish go), and while it doesn't offer anything particularly new, it's still a good Silent Hill experience.

Ridge Racer is awesome too. I'm not into racers much, except Gran Turismo, yet Ridge Racer astonished me with it's slick presentation and superb gameplay. You should go with Ridge Racer 2, though, because it's basically the same game as the first with some new additions.
