Master System Problem

Post by ArwingCmdr »

I just got back from my local Game Craze. I bought a Sega Master System that was As-Is for 5 dollars. The guy didn't seem to know why so I figured "5 bucks, you can't beat it". I got the system with no cords, one controller and space harrier for around 10. Well, It doesn't power on. I plug in the AC, I know its not the AC btw, and the system has no power. Any thoughts?

Oh, I don't have those. Just a Genesis 2. I was trying my NES adapter but its not working. Maybe I can find just a system on ebay for cheap or something.

It may be the fuse, in which case it's an easy fix.

Most likey it's a fuse problem. System power failures are often the result of a blown fuse. However, since you haven't tried it with a genuine Master System AC adapter yet, it could be that.
