Hey, I just had a quick question.
I've been playing SFA2 on my Saturn, and the very left and right hand sides of the screen are cut off. It doesn't really affect gameplay, but I would like to be able to see it all. I tried changing the "Screen" option from Arcade to Saturn, but I couldn't see any difference. Is there any way to deal with this? Thanks for your help.

Okay, I added some pictures if you'd like to see them. My TV seems to just be your run-of-the-mill normal TV, although it does have a little sticker on it that says "Flat Screen".

Here's the picture of the screen in "Arcade Mode". Ken's cut off, he's standing at the very edge of the screen. The super bar numbers are cut off too.

Here's Saturn Mode. I think Ken's at the edge in this one too, so maybe it is squashed a bit. The super bar numbers are still cut off.
So yeah, it's not like it's a big deal, the game's still great. I was just wondering if I missed some sort of option or tweak to let me see the last little bit.

I have that same TV! Bought from WalMart right? How long ago did you buy it? Mine's a couple years old and it's begining to do the same thing. I have to take advantage of every game's screen position option. I also have a friend who bought the same TV around the same time, but he and his brothers use it non-stop, and their's is cropping off twice as much picture as mine. It's just a shitty model TV, I'm afraid.Space Paranoids wrote:Okay, I added some pictures if you'd like to see them. Ya, it's just a shitty TV with poor geometry and such (tho in this case it could be poor output because of capcom...). My old shitty RCA screwed with my SNES's and GCNs output and made it all wacky. It was horrible.
Just get a new TV, lol. Seems like that's all I can say. also, it seems like the "flat-screen" CRTs that are cheaper always have a lot of problems with geometry, color calibration, etc. Try a normal one mebe.
