sega saturn 3d controller question

Post by tobyfrancisco »

Hello. I just bought a sega saturn 3d controller and I have a question. When i use the joystick the top twists around a bit, like a screw. I was just wondering if this is normal for 3d controllers or if mine is defective. Thanks.

Mine does it. It isn't really a problem and you shouldn't worry, it doesnt come loose or anything.

It's designed that way so that the stick swivels slightly to accommodate your thumb's rotation as it extends.

Yeah, it's an awesome controller, even if my wife does say it looks like a "personal pan pizza."

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but the 3D controller never did anything for me.

I've got another question about the 3D controller. Why can the top part disconnect? Was this intended to have an addon?

I think it's there to give people like me something to play with during loading screens. When I play my PSP I constantly open and close the Memory Stick Duo cover, and I can't tell you how many times I've broken a battery cover from incessant opening and closing.
