I love this stuff

Stumbled onto NHL94.com and found out that they put out updates with some graphical tweaks as well as the roster updates, easily my favorite hockey game ever made.

And regarding NHL94--I loved that game. But I could never get over the fact that they canned the fighting system in the 93' version. The debate always raged: fighting system or one-timer? T'was always a difficult debate.

Haha, I agree to a point. But spotting those 16-bit sprites knock each other on their asses was always a thrilling experience in NHL'93.

You could break the glass in 94 too and oh, it had the actual teams and logos instead just plain Detroit or Chicago. The 96 version they did put fighting back in the game, but there is just something about the 94 version. Loved me some one-timers.

Pretty interesting project you are working on, I'm assuming thats for play via emulation? Although I think I might like playing with my Lions with Barry Sanders on the team then the current roster...

There's a new BETA version up. A couple of the offensive play formations were a little wonky. I initially uploaded the wrong file. Doh! They've now been fixed.
