Re: GBA vs GBA SP
Ah! gtmtnbiker just reminded me. They released an SP with a better backlight after the micro came out. You would do well to pick that one up.

Re: GBA vs GBA SP
For me, the easiest way is the model number. The SP+ is AGS-101. Especially when I'm dealing with Craigslist postings. I'll usually ask the seller to tell me the model number to make sure it's the item that I'm looking for.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:The easiest way to tell the difference between regular SP and SP+ models is to look at the screen. Regular front-lit SP's have a gray screen when turned off, while back-lit SP+ models have a black screen when turned off and are only available in the aforementioned Graphite, Pearl-Blue and Peal-Pink colors.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Backlight models came in Onyx and Pearl-Blue
