are any of you familiar with editing sprites for doom wads? i have a couple 3d models i want to put into the doom 64 absolution game thing for pc. i can edit some of the levels (real basic right now) but i really want to see some of my modles (sprite based ovcourse) running amock in doom. ive tried other sites and have gotten no ware.

so, ive gathered this much.. i have to load the wad or some other file in to this program (crap, cant remember the name) and load or replace there sprites with mine. but its not that simple, my changes are not present when i start the game.

doom 64 tc can be found here at

http://www.doom2.net/~doomdepot/

any help would be greatley appreciated.

it took a while but i put my baren, caccodemon, arachnotron, into doom depots Doom 64 TC for the PC. .. phew.... i also tinkerd with the existing sprites and made them a little bloodee-err and replaced some of the 64 monsters with one doom 3 monster and a couple doom 1 and 2 monsters. it really gives me a special feeling - adding a little something to the doom world.... its like having a kid, taking pride in raising it , then watching all the cool bits fly when you shoot it with a shoot gun.

ill be posting it on a site i cant remember for downloading and stuffs.

does it use .pcx's before you put them back in?

I remember there was a gfx editor for Quake1, i believe it could also be used with WADs (not sure thou :s )
