Alcohol (Isopropyl) to clean pins on Official GC Mem Card ?

hiya team , i got a Tri-Wing Screwdriver and opened the Memory Card. I know using a rubber to clean the pins is great but finishing it off with some Alcohol (Isopropyl) as the last step a good idea ?

any tips are neat

Gently and with a Q-Tip only on the connectors that go to the Gamecube with no higher than 70% By Volume Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol.
