Battleforge
Has anyone here played Battleforge? I downloaded it last week since it recently became a Play4Free title and I'm really digging it. I really like the combining of a collectible card game and a simple RTS. Even though it's not the deepest of RTS, the card element keeps me interested. I haven't tried out the PvP yet, I want to build a better deck before getting slaughtered by someone, but the PvE is fun. The story is pretty uninteresting, but doesn't bother me too much.

Re: Battleforge
I played the demo when it first came out and liked it quite a bit. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to invest in what I think could end up being a pretty time consuming experience.
Nevertheless, I give it a thumbs up.

Yeah, if you don't keep track of time you could lose yourself during a session and I'm ending up playing once everyday. If anyone here is just starting out or is going to start playing, I got a couple of duplicates I wouldn't mind giving away for dirt cheap to someone here. Just PM and we can figure it out.

Re: Battleforge
I once spent FAR too much money on M:TG cards, having this game where all you need to do is put a credit card into it and you can buy as many cards as you want is far too dangerous for somebody with such a rabid collector mentality as myself.
I've already spent far too much money on PS2 games (now have over 150, with plenty more games to get) this year.

Yeah for sure. I've given myself a strict spending limit per month on the game to avoid spending too much. One booster a month. Luckily, I've gotten a few rares to give me more bfp's without spending anymore money.Niode wrote:I once spent FAR too much money on M:TG cards, having this game where all you need to do is put a credit card into it and you can buy as many cards as you want is far too dangerous for somebody with such a rabid collector mentality as myself.
