Are GBA's region-free?

I remember the original GB could play imports. But is GBA region-free as well?

The only imports I still have are GTAdvance, Kuru Kuru Kururin, and Mother 3. Sorry.

All consoles in the GameBoy line are region-free and always have been.

If theres no upgrades in the GBA version, I'll just play it on my pocketnes emulator. Thanks for the info though.
