Please help on Super Metroid

I hope this is the right forum, no other forum has tutorial help

I searched the internet and watch videos on you tube, I cant find an answer
Now I know exactly why as a kid I didn't nag a lot about buying new games and consoles
I couldn't finish them, who can with this incredibly hard and complex mapping system
Not to mention no internet, my brain as a kid just didn't consume the tac-tics of videogaming, and strategy guides were not available .

Of course the wall jump is one of the mysteries of impossibilities , you have to hit JUMP+RIGHT exactly when you see the back of Samus. You must have special alien eyes to see things in slow motion , capture it, and respond to it on the controller.

Any how, I am int he bubble room, and I am jumping above using the ice beam using the flying red bats. There is a jumping kind of animal and a Missile unit. After you take that in the tutorials it says you have to shoot southwest on the floor to make a shutter rise and then shoot the wall and go over the shutter and morph into a ball and slide through.

I blasted the whole room with missiles and no shutter or anything showed up. I dropped in the lava pit and shot everything in there, no shutter or whatever. I watched on youtube, with impossible dexterity they can morph into a ball in the air and slide through the wall. Am not doing that, it just can't happen. Can any one please help?

What was the last boss you fought or the one you're about to?

I have no idea who am I going to fight, but I hope you know the bubble room I think the name of the dungeon or whatever is inferno or something like that.
I fought 3 bosses I think, a walking thing at the start, the plant that circles around the screen and you had to shoot its core when it opens it, and a huge green animal that you had to shoot his eyes to win.

I got ice beam, missiles, super missile, high jump and speed boost.

So it sounds like you beat Kraid, got the Varia and Speed Boost, then got the Ice Beam. What you need to do is get out of Norfair and go back to the red soil area of Brinstar. You need to use the ice beam to traverse up the shafts and eventually find the power bombs. They will let you get deeper into Norfair.

but I am using gamefaq and youtube, and some of the stuff they do is impossible,
I am following the guide line by line and still...

I am extremely enjoying the game. Graphics are amazing compared with other Snes titles I tried out on Wii.

Trust me, you don't want to follow youtube videos, as most of them show off the various speedrunning techniques. By the time youtube came along the kinds of people who would make a video walkthrough had mastered all the ways you can exploit the Super Metroid engine, and they do it almost unconciously.
