Any suggestions for my newborn collection?

Post by newt42 »

So, Im starting a collection of platformer video games for the PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast and the GBA. I'm gonna need some second opinions for the shopping list, and I figured this would be the perfect place. :D
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.

Huh? How would he break the bank with Dreamcast platformers?

Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Rayman 2
Fur Fighters
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
MDK 2
Napple Tale

A couple like Super Magnetic Neo and Floigan Bros. are interesting, but I don't really know if they're worth your money.

Metroid: Fusion
Metroid: Zero Mission
River City Ransom: EX

Games I plan on getting:

MDK
Rayman series
Spyro 3
The second Tenchu
The Tomba! series
Rest of the Tomb Raideer series
Various Mario games remaining on the GCN and GBA

I'm also collecting various shooters, fighters, and racing games for these consoles, but I already know enough about those genres. (This is when my DC gets to shine.) :D
