How do you feel when opening a new gaming console box?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

i have only opened one new console(a modded xbox-360) and ive hated it

which is probably why i try to buy retro its cheaper
its also more of an adventure to get the games to

You might if you were opening up a new game console and you saw it had a major manufacturing defect.

Why would I feel shitty when I can just bring it back to the store?

I was envisioning an older console you couldn't return, I guess I should have specified.

You threw me off when you said "manufacturing defect" which I guess would apply to new consoles.

Well maybe 5 tops, but yeah not all are boxed and acquired in the last 3 to 4 years.

Opening a new console is the greatest feeling know to man, it's always nice to know that with your purchase you've opened yourself up to a library of great new games. I remember when I was younger and I rented games a lot, when I got another console it was like a whole section of the store was opened up to me. It's great. :)
