Oh, that is DEFINITELY worth it. Finding a complete condition Mario Paint is like finding a saint in a brothel.

I don't think you'll be making any money on it, but you're not really going to be losing any on it. The SNES is probably worth about $80-$100, plus probably about $20 for Mario paint, means you paid pretty much about what you would on eBay.

Alright, just to put this to a rest

SuperNintendo

Mario Paint

Like I said, getting a complete Mario Paint is like catching the Pope enjoying a lap dance from a lusty lass named Candy - It just doesn't happen. Mario Paint Complete alone would cost you $100.

That's not to say the Pope isn't getting the lap dance. He's just got good security so you don't catch him at it.

Really? $100 for Mario Paint complete?

I don't think I could re-sell it for $100 because the box is pretty mashed up (not beyond horrible thought) and this is what the contents look like.

I don't have a lot of interest in Mario Paint so maybe I could unload it and recoup some of the costs of the system...Thanks for everyone's input.

Hmm.... maybe not. I remember finding Mario Paint Complete used to be a huge deal. Now, it seems like... not so much.

Too bad - I'm surprised to see it actually selling for less than it used to.

Like I said, about $20. I saw a CIB one in my local game store for about $30, so I knew it had to be less than that. I don't know about other places, but I've only ever seen about 2 things in my local stores for less than they are on eBay. The rest tends to be pretty over priced, i.e. $65 for Lunar 1 on SCD, $90 for a NES console, etc. On the other hand, they had an X'Eye for a few hours priced at $40... wish I would have picked that up when I had the chance.

Sure, why don't you just trade your SNES for a Genesis while you're at it!

Because everyone I've talked to says Mario Paint is the must-play game for the Super Nintendo...
