Erm, not a terrible find... boxed and all. Probably could have done better with the price though.
Got: Atari 2600, Atari 7800Pro, Commodore 64, Odyssey 2, Sega Master System, NES, Genesis Models 1-3, Nomad, Game Gear, Sega CD Model 1, Sega 32x, SuperNES, GameBoys, GameBoy Pocket, GBC, Sega Saturn Model 2, GBA, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2 Slim, Nintendo DS Lite, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS3 Slim
99$?? that seems like it should be around $70 at most, at least its boxed and in good condition, no yellowing. Id say its ok to pay almost $100 for that
A SNES and Mario Paint, both boxed, is in my opinion worth a bit more than that. I think it was a very nice find.
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.
Really it depends what parts you come from, I'd never see one around here but like loose Snes's are like 8$ easy. Looks nice and it's a great system though so I wouldn't fret.
Thing is I had an SNES with a huge library of titles, but in a moment of weakness I gave it away to a family friend a few years back and I've regretted it since.
The kids fucking trashed it.
Lately I've been thinking about playing LttP the way it was meant to be played, on the SNES, some SFII and, oddly enough, the Batman animated series game.
I've been searching for an SNES with all of the original packaging and allegedly this one was used a handful of times before being packed away.
I can't wait to get it and play me some Mario World.
You got a great deal man. You could throw that on ebay or craigslist and easily make money on it. Anything you buy that will give you a good time and then give you your money back plus some is a great deal, sign me up.
