online half life help

Hey does anybody know of a websight where i can rent a half life 1 deathmatch source server? I cannot find one :?
There's a 60% chance that the sentiments expressed in the above post are not sincere, and the insincerity of said statements is proportional to the perceived retardation of the sentiment, and inversely proportional to the intelligence of the reader should he or she find the sentiment less than intelligent.

I have looked on and off for a while and couldnt find one either - much less a bevy of HL1DM maps...

that sucks, HL1DM is way funner then hl2dm, But theres only like 4 servers :(

They each have their merits. Playing "serious" HL2DM servers with only a crowbar and gravity gun is some of the most fun I have had with the game. Sure any fella can shoot a gun, but there is an art to shooting a milk cartoon.

That said, some of my favorite deathmatch games of all time were played on Killbox 1, Killbox 4, Vertigo, Bootcamp, Bounce, and 2 Fort_DM. I am still working on a group of low power lan boxes to play this and a bevy of titles from the same time. Thankfully the Nettop 100 plays it like a champ (dual core atom and 2 gigs of ram do that...).

I have HL through Steam, and there is something about servers on the main screen. Never played it online though.
