thinking of getting saturn

what should i look out for when bying saturn?i notice they are cheaper online what sort of questins should i be asking?

If you want to mod it, I would look for a model 2 Saturn (round buttons). I would also try to stay away from the models with a Sanyo board. Not sure how you can easily distinguish those without opening up the case.

what do u meen mod it ? why would i do that ?whats a fair price to pay for one ?

I have one with controllers, 3d pad, and a couple games I would sell for probly 35$ and then 45-50 total shipped, but I only ship ups and let them pack it.

As far as why you would want to mod it, so you can play backups without spending 300$ on a real copy of radiant silvergun.

how easy is it to get cables? because i see alot for sale without and wheres cheapist place to get em?

I would definitely get a Saturn if you think you'll mod it to play backups. Otherwise, I'd suggest you check some game lists and prices because you'll have to shell to get the really choice titles. You wouldn't want to end up with a system you can't really afford to stock with good games.
