Gamestop has become the corporate beast that befalls many other previously "home-y" shops. I remember my dad griping when he noticed it with McDonald's, but I never truly understood the severity of it until now. Gamestop used to be one of my favorite places to go for new games and they used to employ people who were gamers. Then they began to buy out all other game stores (like Rhino down in Florida) and now all we have in my town other than Gamestop is a Play N Trade that is definitely better than Gamestop, but not as glorious as EB Games.
I wonder how the old Game Force in Louisville is doing.
Does GameStop charge too much when this happens?

Prime is really only good if you can't wait to get your stuff (and it doesn't apply to used stuff)
So I just stick with regular free shipping for over $25 orders.
But yeah, I but most of my entertainment stuff from Amazon

Amazon Prime is a service where you spend $80-90 a year (I can't remember the exact figure) and you receive the following benefits:
- Free 2-day shipping on all items sold by Amazon.com, and all Fulfillment By Amazon sellers (people who send their stuff to the Amazon buildings to have Amazon ship them out)
- Upgrade to 1-day shipping for $3.99 per item
- Free release-date delivery on all elligible games (dependent on publisher)

Amazon Prime costs $80 a year. A little expensive, but it pays for itself if you order alot from Amazon. Free 2-day shipping is a wonderful thing to have
. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't buy from Amazon too much or if standard shipping is just fine for you.
