For my edification, what makes this game so great? I've seen some gameplay videos and it just looks like the other Raidens with updated graphics. Am I missing something or is the excitement because it is coming stateside? Either way, I'll wait till it drops below $30 to pick up.

It's a legitimate shmup coming stateside. That's enough to get us excited.

And yes, it's not state of the art in terms of graphics. The game is actually about 2 years old now.

I've been waiting for this game to come stateside for a long time now. The fact that the purple "squigly" laser is back is more than enough persuasion for me to buy this game without any hesitation whatsoever.
