its a weird thing, i feel like complaining, but at the same time, anything nintendo puts out with mario, will be good, so although its not top notch innovation, it will still be a good time, better than a lot of other crap on the wii

So is it the exact same games as on the DS?

Cool -- we'll be getting this for sure.
If I show this to my wife, she'll want to go buy it now :)

I like the idea but i dunno, I rather have 2D graphics to really keep it old school circa SMW but that's just nitpicking. Would I spend 50 though? NOOOO.

Not sure I have the right to speak here, since I've never been a fan of Mario, but this game looks nice, although they could have gone all 3D, no? With A Boy and His Blob-style graphics, I'm sure they could have catered to hardcore as well as casual audiences.

everyone is comparing it with little big planet, and as a basic idea i agree they stole it from LBP's co-op gameplay but i'm not going to complain, cause more platform games = great.

hope the stages are better than the official LBP ones, though with nintendo's expertise in platform games i'm sure it's going to be a blast.

would be nice though for them to go all the way, and they include a level editor like lbp's

I don't do handhelds, so either way I'm pretty excited to have some new 2d platforming from Mario on a console.
