what was your first gaming experiences ?

when i was a kid in the 80s everyone had pocket donkykong not me though my mum got me grandstand firefox f7 wich i loved and played to death.my first multi game unit a vic 20 20k i think powerfull stuff.i knew that gaming inderstry would boom when i was 15 when everyone caught on,but had no money no contacts and no idear how to make a game i still thonk i would be a good gaming designer or reveiwer.

my first experance was playing the nintindo 64. the game i was playing was didy cong raceing.

hm. I used to play games at the arcade from the age of 5 or 6, but the game I remember mostly from that time is Bubble Bobble. We loved to play the shit out of that thing. I even managed to get to level 25 with one credit, which was pretty good for a 6 year old (at least I like to think of it like that).

though my first video game I actually owned was a mega drive 2 and a copy of sonic and knuckles at the age of 9.

great times with that game, and I still take out my mega drive and beat it at least 2 times a year

I was about 7, it was summer 1985 and my father broke out the 2600 (I didn't even know he had one) and showed me Combat.

Pac Man at the arcade. I was addicted instantly.

Home console was a 2600 along with combat and Pac Man. Even though the 2600 Pac Man was so much different, I still played the ever loving shit out of it and loved every minute of it.

I was three years old in 1997. One day my dad got out his NES from way back when. He put the controller in my hands for some Super Mario Bros.

lol i can tell alot of you are alot younger than me.i used to watch the space invaders arcade mashine when i was a kid,that reminds me my first home game system was space invaders.still have it and my fire fox and tomy 3d game

When the NES first came out I somehow wound up at a demonstration out in Cali. Got to play about 2.5 minutes of Super Mario Bros.

I don't remember how we got a NES(it was around 89) and I know I played Batman, Mario 2, Captain Skyhawk but I cant remember doing it. The first memory I remember vividly is on a Saturday night my moms comes home with a toysrus bag, a big one too. She goes straight to her room and that was that. Me and my bro fall out. Next morning I wake up and almost as if on que turn around and see my older brother in front of our TV and on the television... the intro music plays while Sonic the Hedgehog pops out the hole to wag his finger. I was so HYPED yet I couldn't express it since I was still basically waking up. That picture has been burnt into my dome.
