New Super Mario bross on the WII HELL YEAH

Just spotted this on the kotaku live blog from nintendo's e3 presentation. It's going to be a 2d mario game where 4 players play together at the same time. Hell yeah. will psot some pics in a few mintues

Very innovative, slapping a DS game on the Wii and adding four players.

They touted about breaking the "fourth dimension" with Mario and then show this. Nintendo must think they can bullshit anyone.

But at least "Milo" is somewhat forward thinking. This is just Nintendo once again with their small steps and repackaging. 2D Mario on Wii isn't a terrible idea, but is this really what Miyamoto has been hard at work on?

Also, to call this shit "innovative" and use terms like "fourth dimension" just makes Nintendo look like cocky assholes.

I think they were joking about the 4th demension, plus I don't care if Milo does turn out like they say it will, I still believe it's going to be boring. All the jokes about gamers having imaginary friends are going to come true.

and as I said screw innovation I want my 2d platform games.

I just wanted to see more effort from Nintendo in a new Mario game. It's probably my fault for expecting this though.

yeah I guess after mario galaxy you'd expect a new mario game that would jack you into the mario matrix, in order to top it.

Now if the 4 player is online as well this will be amazing. Odd that it seems to be using identical graphics to the DS game though, oh well.

Mario Galaxy will be amazing. The New Super Mario Bros Wii could be awesome if i given a chance to develop in to it's own game and not just Nintendo slapping new graphics on a old game and reselling it as a new game.
