Some Saturn Games Just Won't Play
Thanks to the modchip I have, most of my downloaded saturn games work just fine on my system. However, there are a few that absolutely, under any circumstances, refuse to play. Some of these include Assult Suit Leynos 2 and Super Tempo. I've tried downloading the iso's from multiple sources, using different burning mediums, and always being sure that the game's region is correct, and the iso is error-free, but they just always redirect me back to the main saturn menu screen. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thats weird, I DL'ed my Assault Suit Leynos from www.emuasylum.com and burned it at the lowest speed with no problems at all. Never tried Super Tempo, I'll have to look into it. What kind of modchip are you using?

Have you tried using SSF (emulator) to verify that the image works?

Re: Some Saturn Games Just Won't Play
I think that a few Saturn games were poorly made or poorly burned to disc.
I've got a Saturn that will play everything I throw at it, including burned games in beta stages. However, I had such an issue with playing my back up version of In The Hunt that I got the original out of storage. When I still had problems playing that, I bought a sealed copy and tried it with the brand new disc...and still had a hard time getting it to play. It's got to be a manufacturing issue with particular games, I can't think of anything else it could be.

In The Hunt is known for that. Many original copies will take ages to load or not even load at all. It seems that there was a bad press run of this game which wasn't recalled, but I thought it was only the japanese version! I've heard you can solve it by just making a copy of it, though (haven't tried).HellHammer wrote:I think that a few Saturn games were poorly made or poorly burned to disc.
